Kogi Teacher’s Recruitment is a scam, dont expect salary as it is Election Scam and Bello’s desperation to secure votes for his Ododo – Opaluwa Omera Ugbede
An aide to Murtala Yakubu Ajaka, Prince Opaluwa Omera has asked Kogi newly recruited teachers not to lose hope as the Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate Alh Murtala Yakubu Ajaka would regularize their employment and pay salary arrears when voted in.
Opaluwa made this revelation in Abuja today 3rd of August, 2023 while addressing Newsmen on the plight of the newly recruited Kogi STETCOM Teachers.
In his word, “Just imagine, these people were managing in one place or the other before this so call teaching appointments, with joy in their heart resigned because of STETCOM job and could not go back there again. Please don’t just expect salaries in this administration, I am very optimistic that when Hon. Muri comes he will regularize your appointments and you will be paid in arrears”
“I am surprised that a Government will employ teachers since February 13th and salaries are not paid till date, just to give job seekers false hope because they need them to vote for the Ododo who has been instrumental to none payment worker’s salaries. This is too bad, so unbearable and can not be accepted” he expressed
“As I speak to you, local government allocation which was diverted to private companies accounts last week, yesterday they have secured an overdraft for local government salaries which was duly and handsomely paid to every states and local governments from FAAC. Today local government teachers have started getting 50% salary and pensioners 55% which is the highest ever paid since the existence of this Bello’s government even in the face of the current hardship in Nigeria full salary is not paid. to LGAs”
He further noted that withholding people’s salaries for almost seven (7) months is unacceptable, distasteful and unbearable, noting that he was aware that the recruitment was initiated as a result of the fear of Muri.
He called on Kogi Civil servants to resist the continuation of bad government and keep their PVC in support of the people’s oriented candidate of the Social Democratic Party.
The suffering of our people will determine the results of the election on November 11th, 2023.
Our people are tired and the untold hardship is telling on them because the more they keep getting the people pushed into poverty the more it affects us who are citizens of Kogi because we keep getting series of financial requests from home, this also affects us negatively.
