Helicopter crashes into a residential building in Lagos

A helicopter with unspecified number of people crashed into a residential building in Lagos on Tuesday.

The accident that happened in the Oba Akran Ikeja Area of Lagos attracted large number of people who rushed to the scene to have glimpse.

The aircraft ignited into a blazing inferno immediately it went down at about 3.30pm.

Eye witness account could not vouch for survival of anyone aboard as fire was burning from the helicopter.

As of now, there is uncertainty surrounding the fate of the helicopter’s pilots, and it remains unclear if there are any other casualties.

First emergency responders are currently on the scene, diligently conducting rescue operations in a race against time.

Additional support is eagerly anticipated from the dedicated men of the Lagos Fire and Rescue Service, who are expected to arrive promptly to assist in the ongoing emergency efforts and help mitigate the situation.
