Nigerian Senate on Thursday received a list of 28 Ministerial nominees from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for screening and confirmation.
The list was contained in a letter submitted to the red Chamber by the Chief of Staff to the President and former Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.
Gbajabiamila was led into the red Chambers by Sergent-At-Arms after Senator Michael Opeyemi raised other 12 and 51 of Senate Rules.
In his explanation, Opeyemi sought approval of Senate President, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabío to allow invocation of the relevant Orders for the mail to be delivered.
The Chief of Staff entered the red Chamber at exactly 1.19 pm, delivered the letter and hugged Akpabío.
Immediately, Senate President opened the letter and unveiled the first batch of Ministerial nominees.
