BREAKING: Atiku, Shettima meet at a wedding in Abuja

The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar and the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima on Saturday met at a wedding in Abuja.

Both politicians who are contending the legitimacy of the 2023 general election at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal exchanged pleasantries when they met.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC declared Bola Ahmed Tinubu winner of the presidential election with Shettima as his Vice.

Dissatisfied with the outcome, both Atiku and Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party have approached the Tribunal and the case is currently being adjudicated with progress made.

However, the two politicians seemed to have lay aside their political differences to greet each other and even went into a brief meeting at the wedding of Mohammed (Ameer) Bunu and Ikramullah Jamal Arabi.

The wedding was attended by notable personalities including Major General Babagana Monguno (rtd), former National Security Adviser, Professor Ali Isa Pantami, the immediate Past Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, and other prominent individuals.
