APC announces date for National Caucus and NEC meetings
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has fixed its National Caucus (NC) and National Executive Committee (NEC) meetings for 10th and 11th July, 2023.
The notice was issued by the party National Secretary, Iyiola Omisore and made available to newsmen on Tuesday night.
The National Caucus meeting is scheduled to hold on the 10th of July by 6 pm, at the banquet hall of the presidential villa. While the National Executive Committee Meeting will hold on the 11th of July, at the Congress hall, Transcorp Hillton Abuja, by 11am.
Recall that the last NEC meeting of the party held in April, 2022.
It is also worthy to note that the APC North-West National Vice Chairman, Mallam Salihu Lukman, has repeatedly accused the National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu of deliberately refusing to call for a NEC meeting for over a year since the last one held. He also alleged that the National Chairman and National Secretary reduced other members of the NWC to mere rubber stamp to validate decision they signed singlehandedly.
