BREAKING: Naval officer, Nicholas leads thugs’ invasion of Ejule, scores fears killed
Reports reaching CAPITAL POST indicated that Navy Commander Nicholas Uchendu Akalezi alias Akalieze has led a large number of thugs to invade Ejule in Ofu Local Government Council in Kogi East Senatorial District, killing innocent persons in search of their target.
The Commander was said to have left Okene in the midnight and headed to Ejule in search of Bala Kabir, alias Okwo, but were met with resistance leading to heavy casualties.
A young lady aged 24 years, who identified as Atima Abdullahi was killed in a cross while lying in the pool of her blood as at early Thursday morning.
As at Thursday morning, Okwo’s residential building has been razed completely with nothing left on the compound.
CAPITAL POST learnt that Akalezi with service No: NN2880 NDA Course 54, a native of Imo state who has been backed for long by the outgoing Chief of Naval Staff Gambo because of the agreement between Gambo and Yahaya Bello. His operation has led to unresolved mission persons in Kogi State, particularly critics of governor Yahaya Bello administration.
It is recalled that Okwo’s hotel which was due to be commissioned was three weeks ago burnt down by the suspected thugs working for governor Yahaya Bello. They stormed the hotel premises in the dead of the night to carry out operations.
