Osun governorship: Adeleke wins at Supreme

The Supreme Court on Tuesday delivered judgement affirming Mr Ademola Adeleke as winner of Osun State governorship election.

Court’s decision has put paid to controversy trailing the election which was firstly annuled by the Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal.

A five-member panel of the apex court held that the court of appeal correctly reinstated Adeleke as governor.

Adeleke, a former Senator contested governorship on the platform of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and defeated the incumbent and former governor, Adegboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
