The Governor-elect who was represented by an eminent delegation in the extensive discussion with the Consul-General, Embassy of Hungary, Mr Endre Peter Deri, and some Hungarian investors, was optimistic that the people of Plateau State would genuinely benefit from the potato value chain in its true and rightful sense, during the lifespan of his administration.
The Plateau-Hungary bilateral meeting is expected to result in smart farming practices, improved potato seed varieties, and quality storage facilities, to make farming more enticing, profitable, and attractive to unemployed youths and those interested in agriculture, when Barr. Caleb Mutfwang (BCM), assumes office next month.
