Former Chief Judge Ayo Salami continues grilling of Magu on Tuesday
Former Chief Judge of the Court of Appeal, Justice Ayo Salami will on Tuesday continue grilling of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu.
Magu who was arrested on Monday at the prompting of the panel was grilled at the presidential banquet hall, Aso Villa, Abuja, but reports emanating from the panel indicated that his responses were unsatisfactory, hence, he was detained at CID Area 10 facility in order to be brought back on Tuesday.
Magu was alledgedly involved in corruption that bothers on purchases of four houses in Abuja and wiring money abroad through third parties.
The DSS in a 2016 report revealed that Magu was living in a N40m mansion.
It’s recalled that Ibrahim Magu who serves in Acting capacity as EFCC Chairman was declined confirmation as a substantive Chairman by Dr. Bukola Saraki led 8th National Assembly over reports that he was involved in corruption.
