He said the state government’s lackadaisical and lameduck disposition had made the crisis a recurring decimal and the area a haven of deaths over the years.
“The only reactions from the state government in the last few years is press releases with nothing on ground to show, while the innocent ones are daily been maimed and chase out of their homes with families.”
“From Oganenigu in Dekina Local Government Area to Bagaji in Omala local government area to Bassa local government area down to Kogi local government area, the state government had feigned commiseration calling on federal authorities to intervene.”
“Everything is politics in Kogi state, we need to mobilise both human and material to confront this crises across kogi east and by extension the state with both communal and self sacrifices.”

He urged the people not to rely on the current administration in Kogi in the course of tackling the lingering massacre at Oganenigu, saying that the government had not shown any political will to the unabated and recurring crises.
