Gombe: Senator Amos Bulus faces probe over anti-party activities, may be expelled

Senator representing Gombe South Senatorial District, Amos Bulus Kilawangs has come under probe by the ruling All Progressives Congress over anti-party in the just concluded elections.

The Gombe State Chapter of APC has accused the lawmaker of anti-party activities, which made him to work against the party, an offence that attract serious penalties, including suspension from the party. in the party.

Similarly, the former governor and Senator representing Gombe Central Senatorial District, Danjuma Goje is currently being probed for his anti-party during the presidential and governorship elections held February 25 and March 18, respectively.

The two embattled lawmakers in the upper legislative Chamber allegedly worked for the opposition Peoples Democratic Party which Atiku Abubakar is the presidential candidate.

Addressing newsmen on Tuesday, the Chairman of APC in Bambam ward, Balanga Local Government Area of the state, Muhammad Kaka, expressed concern that Bulus, having benefited from the ruling party failed to contribute to the success of APC in 2023.

According to him, characters like senator Bulus “should not be tolerated in or around our party.”
