Kaduna Governorship: PDP’s Isah Asiru takes early lead
The Peoples Democratic Party’s governorship candidate, Isah Asiru Kudan may be racing to victory to Sir Kashini Ibrahim House, Kaduna, as the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC is gradually releasing Saturday’s Governorship and State Assemblies elections.
So far, Asiru has won five out of seven LGAs.

Results officially announced so far showed that the PDP won in Kaura, Kajuru, Makarfi, Sanga and Jaba local government areas, while the APC won in Giwa and Ikara local governments area.
According to the figures INEC released recently, the state has about 4.3 million registered voters.
Senator Uba Sani of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC); Ashiru Isa of the Peoples Democratic (PDP), Jonathan Asake of Labour Party (LP) and Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
