Oyo: #Election SITUATION ROOM# APC, PDP thugs in supremacy battle, inflicts injuries on each other [Photos]

Thugs loyal to the All Progressives Congress, APC and the governing Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Oyo State on Saturday went wild over conflict of interest in the Saturday’s State House of Assemblies and governorship elections.

The hoodlums clashed at ward 7 of Ibarapa East East Local Government Area of the state which is believed to be a stronghold of the PDP, few hours to commencement election.

Trouble ensued when supporters of PDP allegedly attacked a vehicle conveying
some people to the election ground.

Immediately, some supporters of the APC retaliated as they traced the leaders of the PDP attackers to their hideout and engaged in what turned out to a free for all fight leading to injuries on both sides.

A deeply wounded victim of the attack was said to have be rushed to an undisclosed hospital in Ibadan.

Meanwhile, there have been political mudslingings between the All Progressives Congress, APC and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, few weeks before the election.
