Southern Kaduna Youths under the aegis of ‘Labour Party Youth Supporters’, the Southern Kaduna Youth and Young Forum (SOKAYYUF), and the Southern Kaduna Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Youth Supporters on Wednesday thrown their weight behind Isah Ashiru Kudan in Saturday’s governorship election.
The Coalition’s open declaration of their support for the Peoples Democratic Party candidate was coming three days to the election.
The youth arm of Labour Party, LP, said, though they voted for their party a forth night ago during the presidential election, it didn’t amount to winning as the northern geopolitical zones didn’t leverage on it.
Making their stand known at a press conference, leaders of the Coalition, Comrade Audu Tanko, Secretary, Southern Kaduna Labour Party Youth/Young Forum, Mr. Barak Zebedee,
Secretary, BOT, Isa Ashiru/John Ayuba Gida-Gida Campaign 2023, noted that as the governorship candidate of LP, Jonathan Asake refused to step down for PDP, the youths will give bloc votes to PDP.
The Coalition said, the Labour Party’s candidate is a good person, but he lacked capacity to win election on the LP platform for now as a result of stronger contenders.
