Abducted APC critic: Shehu Sani calls out Buhari, El-Rufai
Three years after a popular critic of the All Progressives Congress, APC, went missing from his residence in Kaduna, Senator Shehu Sani has demanded for explanation from President Muhammadu Buhari and governor Nasir El-Rufai.
The critic, Idris Dadiyata was abducted from his residence on August 2, 2019 at about 1.00am by some gunmen when he was with his family.
Sani explained that the critic was whisked away in his BMW car by the gunmen from Barnawa neighborhood of Kaduna and since then, his whereabout has been unknown, even with the 9th National Assembly not doing anything about the incident.
The Human Rights Activist recalled that
the Kaduna State Police Command stated that it had commenced a rescue mission to bring him back home, and it has been almost four years, and his whereabouts are still unknown.
In a post via Twitter, Shehu Sani averred that the lifespan of the current administration is gradually coming to an end without telling Nigerians the whereabouts of Dadiyata.
In the post which was accompanied by a photo of Dadiyata, the former lawmaker accused the federal government and the Kaduna state government of failing to raise an issue about the incident.
He tweeted: “The lifespan of this Gov’t is coming to an end without telling Nigerians the whereabouts of this young man Idris Dadiyata, who was abducted from his house in Kaduna 3 years ago.
“The Federal & Kaduna State Gov’t & Kaduna Senators & Reps refused to raise his issue at the NASS.”
