Bamidele dedicates Certificate of Return to Constituents

the Chairman, Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters, Sen. (Dr.) Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, CON, has dedicated his Certificate of Return to the good people of his Senatorial District of Ekiti State.

In a statement issued by his Media Office on Wednesday, the quitessential lawmaker who doubles as the Chairman, Southern Senators’ Forum stressed that he remain eternally grateful and deeply indebted to his constituents for giving him yet another opportunity to represent them in the National Assembly by re-electing him back into the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

On Tuesday, 7th March, 2023, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) presented Certificates of Return to the Winners of the Senatorial elections which held on Saturday, 25th February, 2023 across the nation.

The presentation was done by INEC at the International Conference Centre (ICC), Abuja.

Bamidele pointed out that the overwhelming support that he received from his constituents as demonstrated through their massive votes for him during the just concluded National Assembly elections has further reinvigorated his determination to perform more excellently in the 10th Senate, adding that he will use his upgraded status as a returning ranking Senator to bring greater dividends of democracy to Ekiti Central Senatorial District.

Other Recipients at the memorable occasion include His Excellency, the President of the Senate, Sen. (Dr.) Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, Sen. Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi and the two newly elected Senators from Ekiti South and Ekiti North respectively, currently Hon. Raphel Yemi Adaramodu and Hon. Cyril Fasuyi.
