Following the Supreme Court judgement on Thursday affirming the validity of the old Naira notes, Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike said the judgement is too bad for the Central Bank governor, Godwin Emefiele.
He said Emefiele has no choice, but to comply with the judgement as there is no other directive that can override the judgement.

Speaking in Abuja, Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has backed the Supreme Court judgement extending the validity of old N200, N500, and N1,000 notes till December 31, 2023.
