The International Centre For Peace, Charities, And Human Development ( INTERCEP) is appealing to Nigerians to exercise patience and call for peaceful coexistence in the communities and the nation at large.

The call is coming barely 24 hours after INEC declared Alhaji Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu as the winner of the just concluded presidential election which was held on Saturday 25th February 2023.

The Legal Officer Of INTERCEP, Barrister Peter Paul Oguche, in a press statement issued and made available to CAPITAL POST on Thursday in Jos,
urged the general public to remain calm and desist from any form of breakdown of law and order that could heat the Polity.

INTERCEPT calls on the leadership of political parties to engage her supporters to calm the nerves of the aggrieved youths not to take laws into their hands but channel their grievances to the tribunal.
