President-elect, Tinubu leads APC governors on thank you visit to Daura

Nigeria’s President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday led some All Progressives Congress, APC, governors on thank you visit to President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina State.

Tinubu made the visit after receiving his certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.

He flew into Daura from Abuja and reports said, he used the opportunity to appreciate Buhari’s role in his emergence after a keenly contested presidential election.

While casting his vote on Saturday, Buhari displayed his thumb printed ballot paper showing thanks he voted Ahmed Bola Tinubu.

Before the election, Buhari was attacked by some APC governors, particularly, Malam Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, Umar Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano and the former governor of Edo and Senator-elect, Adams Oshiomhole.

CAPITAL POST gathered that Tinubu led governors, Nasir El-rufai, Atiku Bagudu, Ebonyi, Dave Umahi, Zamfara, Bello Muhammad, amongst others.
