DSS debunks invasion of CBN, says report is misleading
The Department of State Security DSS, has debunked reports that its operatives invaded the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Monday.
In a statement which was signed by the Public Relation Officer of the Service, Me Peter Afunanya on Monday said the report was fake as the agency never carried out the operation.

Afunanya said: “The attention of the Department of State Services (DSS) has been drawn to the false news making the round that its operatives invaded the Central Bank of Nigeria and arrested its Governor, today 16/1/23.
“This is fake news and quite misleading.”
