Banditry: We bury people daily in last seven years – Col. Hassan

A former military officer Col. Hassan Labo said, victims of bandits and terrorists attacks are being buried in Southern Kaduna on daily since President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

He accused government of negligence in handling insecurity, in parts of Kaduna and in some parts of the country.

He said Kaduna Southern Kaduna has experienced a devastating horrors of banditry which are often not made known to the outside world.

He revealed that letters that were written to the Government with directions on how to fight terrorists were unfortunately not responded to.

He said, ”We try to play a role as ex-military in trying to solve this problem, we give contributions but in the end, nothing follows up. I don’t want to start citing example with the situation of where I come from in Southern Kaduna and all what we are suffering.

“It has gotten to a point where you begin to feel that there is a government connivance in the whole damn thing that’s happening.

You begin to wonder that are you sure those who should be taking care of me are not part of what is happening. As a government when you turn your face away from what is happening. That alone in itself connotes a level of connivance.

“We bury people in Southern Kaduna nearly every day since President Buhari came on board. It’s no big story anymore, you can find out from anyone.”
