BREAKING: 7 APC members dead in Kano-Zaria road fatal accident

Reports reaching CAPITAL POST said some members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) were involved in fatal accident on Kano – Zaria road and seven of them were confirmed dead.

The deceased were said to have been returning from the Presidential Campaign rally which held in Kano on Wednesday.
The source said, the deceased were travelling in a Golf car from Kano to Zaria before they rammed into an oil tanker at about 6.00pm which five people died on the spot and two later died while they were being rushed to the Murtala Muhammed Specialist Hospital, Kano.

The deceased are Bala Kariya, Barau Kariya, Musbahu Gidan Diraman, Yakubu Gidan Diraman, Hamza Huntu, Danladi Gidan Algaita, and Lawan Gidan Diraman.

They have been buried in their different villages in accordance with Islamic rites.

Members of the national and state assemblies, among them, the Senator representing Kano South, Kabiru Gaya, attended the funeral prayers, as well as other political office holders.
