Serving governors on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Atiku Abubakar’s camp are begging the aggrieved G-5 governors not to abandon the presidential candidate.
The governors are Duoye Diri of Bayelsa State, and Godwin Obaseki of Edo State. They appealed to Wike group to reconsider their stand while speaking with journalists in Asaba on Tuesday.
Diri and Obaseki had paid a courtesy visit to the PDP vice presidential candidate and Governor of Delta state, Ifeanyi Okowa, at his home in Owa-Alero, Ika northeast area.
Meanwhile, Bauchi State governor, Bala Mohammed has invited the Wike-led G-5 for a campaign flag-off today (Wednesday).
