Kogi deputy governor, Onoja says he has no crisis with Yahaya Bello
Kogi State Deputy governor said he has no crisis with Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello. This is coming amid rumours of rift between him and his boss over some political issues.
Onoja stated this during an annual thanksgiving service of Emonyoku family thanksgiving day held at Emonyoku-Ogugu in the Olamaboro Local Government Area in Kogi East Senatorial district.
Onoja said, he thank God for elevating Yahaya Bello to the position of governor of Kogi State, stating that as his deputy, he has no reason to have any problem with him politically.
He disclosed at the event that Bello donated Honda vehicle to the Pastor of the United Evangelical Church, Emanyoku; Peugeot 406 to the National President of the Emanyoku family union; and a 32-seater bus to the Emanyoku Community Secondary School.
According to him, as a former Chief of Staff, and now Deputy Governor, he had continued to serve his boss and Kogi State faithfully and with the fear of God.
He called on Kogi people to continue to support the new direction of the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello while they should avoid spreading non-existing stories between him and Bello.
”Onoja said, adding that “no one can put asunder the good and positive relationship which has helped in the physical development of Kogi State in the last seven years”.
On the thanksgiving day, Onoja said God had done a lot for Emonyoku community in terms of physical development and hence the reason for the annual thanksgiving by members of the community.
The thanksgiving day witnessed presentation of awards, the raising of over six million naira scholarship fund for indigent students of Emonyoku community, and a session of worship.
The members representing Bassa and Olamaboro constituencies, Ranji Daniya and Anthony Ujah respectively, and other notable dignitaries graced the occasion.
