BREAKING: Labour Party Campaign DG resigns
Dr Doyin Okupe, the Director General of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), and former Senior Special Adviser to ex-President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has resigned.
Okupe threw in the towel following his conviction on Monday by a Federal High Court presided by Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu in Abuja.
Okupe cited his Court case as reason he tendered his resignation.
He conveyed his decision in a letter to his principal, the Presidential Candidate of the party, Mr. Peter Obi.
The Labour Party chieftain was convicted for money laundering to the tune of N702 million.
