Protest rocks Catham House, as protesters alleges Tinubu a drug baron
A number of protesters besieged Catham House, United Kingdom in demonstration of their grievances on Monday where the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), presidential candidate for the 2023 general election, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu spoke.
The protest which was monitored by CAPITAL POST reports that demonstrators which comprise of opposition Nigerians living in the United Kingdom filed out with placards.
Demonstrators were mainly supporters of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Tinubu had travelled to the United Kingdom to speak at Catham House which normally used across the globe
to encourage inclusive and open dialogue in meetings.
This paper recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari equally spoke at Catham House when he was contested against the former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in 2015.
Meanwhile, protesters alleged that the APC presidential candidate was a drug trafficker and a baron in a 90s.
“Tinubu is a known Drug Lord with signs of cognitive dissonance. I have got facts to back it up, I have documents to back it up,” said a protester Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-Nigerian president Goodluck Jonathan.
As a counter, supporters of the APC living in United Kingdom equally staged a protest to the Catham House.
