President of Cameroon, Paul Biya was attacked while celebrating his 40 years in office in France.

The 90 year old octogenarian was attacked by the angry Cameroonians living in France.

Change of Name

In the ShuttleTV which was seen by CAPITAL POST in Abuja on Saturday, the angry Cameroonians stormed the venue where Paul Biya was expected to celebrate his anniversary and destroyed chairs, attacked guests after overpowering security agents.

Luckily, President Biya was not in the venue at the time, they came, but a man suspected to be one his cabinet member was killed.

Paul Biya has ruled the Cameroon since 1982 following the resignation of the country’s first post independence President, Ahmadou Ahidjo.

Few years ago, the Southern Cameroon secessionists have been fighting Paul Biya’s government over alleged neglect of the region. There have been reports of human rights abuse by the Paul Biya-led government in the region.

Many Cameroonians have fled to country for exile to avoid been arrested and killed by Cameroonian forces.
