Scene of attack on Apostle Johnson Suleman in Auchi

Reports confirmed that 4 Police personnel, a civilian, one of Apostle Suleiman’s daughter were killed by arsonists on Friday at Water Tanker Junction, Warrake Road, Auchi, Edo State.
Unidentified gunmen reportedly open fire on the founder of Omega Fire Ministries at about 5pm.
The gunmen, according to eyewitness
had been parked in a grey Sienna vehicle without number plates suddenly began to fire at the homecoming convoy of the Apostle.
The clergy has been out of the country but came back that day.
Meanwhile, the vehicle conveying Suleman has been riddled wiih bullets and its tires deflated which he managed to coast to safety leaving his security personnel badly mutilated from the bullets of the suspected kidnappers who set out to abduct him.
It was gathered that residents in the area were taken aback in shock as they scampered away for safety on the realization that the vehicle that had since parked by Water Tanker Junction was bearing heavily armed gunmen.
An eyewitness told the press that after shooting sporadically for minutes, they (the gunmen) collected the arms of the slain Police Officers and sped off through the Warrake part of the road in escape.
The Police and officers of the army have however weighed in to calm the nerves of frightened residents, assuring them of security while investigations are expected to kick off to bring the criminals to book.
