DPAYEI to partner Equatorial Guinea
Decency Pan – African Youth Empowerment Initiative ( DPAYEI), a Non – Governmental Organisation is set to partner Equatorial Guinea, everything working out fine.
This was disclosed to the media after the executives of DPAYEI led by her President, Stella Ezeh paid a courtesy visit to the Ambassador Francisco Edu Ngua Managie at the Embassy of the Equatorial Guinea in Abuja on Monday.
Ezeh informed that it was a fruitful meeting with Ambassador Managie, as the occasion gave her team the opportunity to discuss the vision and mission of DPAYEI, which is mainly to reposition the African continent, especially millions of her Youth a new mindset that will turn the fortunes of the continent.
“We had a very good meeting with the Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea, His Excellency, Francisco Edu Ngua Managie, where we had useful conversations on how to change the narratives in Africa to positive stories” Ezeh told the media.
“We laid down what DPAYEI represents before His Excellency. DPAYEI is fully committed into changing the mindsets of Africans in the global world.
“DPAYEI wants to raise new set of Africans that will rebuild the continent. We want to have different capacity building events for the African youths and also equipped them with the modern skills needed to excel in the world.
“Our vision is to build a new Africa where governments of various countries on the continent shows strong commitment into eradicating poverty, unemployment among the youths, reliable health sector and vibrant policies that will help the financial fortunes of these countries.
“The way forward is to begin with the youths. We want to eradicate or at least reduce cyber financial crimes. The Internet should not be a place to scam people who worked hard for their money.
“There are so many skills that the African youths can learn on the Internet. Digital Media marketing certification is one of the capacity building workshop we are planning very soon for the African youths.
“And it feels good to let you know that these are some of the conversations my team had with His Excellency, Ambassador Managie at the Embassy of Equatorial Guinea on Monday.
“His Excellency was very impressed and we hope to still continue with conversations with another visit.
“It was very glaring that the initiatives of DPAYEI are very laudable and the government of Equatorial Guinea are looking forward to the implementations of these initiatives through partnership,” she said.
