2023: Obi unveils presidential campaign council on Wednesday

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi will on Wednesday 12th October unveiled its campaign council.

The campaign council is being unveiled after criticisms that the it being unnecessarily delayed by some members and supporters of the party.

The invitation cards are being circulated, a copy of which was sighted by our correspondent in Abuja on Tuesday.

An invitation card tagged “Pre-Campaign World Press Conference” said the unveiling is expected to take place at Chelsea Hotel in Central Area of Abuja by 12:00 noon.

The party is expected to present its list of council nominees.

The Director General of the Peter Obi Presidential Campaign Organisation, Doyin Okupe in a tweet on Tuesday night stated that he would address a press conference on Wednesday.

He said: “I will address a World Press conference tmro at 12noon. I will be speaking on Labour Party and Peter Obi, the journey so far, the Obidient Movement, and also announce the Presidential campaign council.”
