Chelsea, Man United send condolence messages over tragedy in Indonesia
Chelsea Football Club and Manchester United were among other mourners who sent their condolence message over tragic incident that claimed 150 lives in Kanjuhuran Stadium, Indonesia.
The 150 number of football supporters died due to stampede when riot broke out after 3-2 win in a match between between Persebaya Surabaya and Arema club.
The incident threw the football community into mourning across the world with Chelsea and Manchester United sending their condolences in solidarity to support the victims of the incident at Kanjuruhan.
It was reported that it all began after a fight erupted immediately the officials blew the final whistle of the game between Persebaya Surabaya and Arema club.
It was alleged that the fans of Arema club invaded the pitch after the full time whistle and a 3:2 loss to Persebaya Surabaya.
In a bid to control the crowd, the police came in and it all turn out brutal where over 150 people allegedly lost their lives because of the stampede.
