2023: APC stakeholders, grassroots in Bokkos, Barkin Ladi vow to deliver candidate

Stakeholders and grassroots politicians of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Bokkos, Barkin Ladi and Jos South Local Government Areas of the State have all vowed All Progressives Congress (APC) to deliver the party at all levels come 2023.

The stakeholders made the pledge on Wednesday when the Plateau APC Governorship candidate, Dr Yilwatda Nentawe accompanied by his wife and running mate, Hon. Pam BotMang, DG Campaign, Professor Maimako and party officials among others visited the various LGCs for a thank you tour to appreciate the people for electing him a flag bearer of the party.

The Chairman of Bokkos Local Government Council, Hon. Joseph Goluwa said the people of Bokkos have been fully sensitised and mobilised in readiness for the forthcoming general elections.

He stated that as far as people of the local government area are concerned, their support and loyalty to the APC remain unshaken and total.

Also speaking the APC chairman of Bokkos Local Government, Hon. Danjuma Mabas dismissed rumours making the rounds that the support for the APC governorship Candidate, has reduced with the stands of the former Governor of Plateau State, Senator Joshua Chibi Dariye in support of the Labour Party in the State, saying Bokkos remains strong for the APC.

Chairman of Barkin Ladi Local Government Council Hon. Jock Alamba said whether anybody likes it or not the Governorship Candidate of the APC Nentawe will be the Governor 2023 by God’s Grace.

He promised that the Local Government will not fail the APC come 2023.

The State APC Chairman Hon. Rufus Bature who is from Barkin Ladi assured that every polling unit in Local Government and the entire Northern Zone will be visited to deliver in the 2023 election

Bature, a former Secretary to the Plateau State Government before being elected APC Chairman disclosed that the 2023 elections campaigns will take a different dimension, saying all campaigns will be directed to all Polling Units.

“Plateau Politics is about explaining the right information to the people to get the right message, will go to the grassroots,
We don’t have any reason to fail in the election, we will work assiduously to win the election from the President, National Assembly, Governorship and the House of Assembly by God’s grace come 2023.

“We are going to fight to retain power, some are fighting to reclaim power, but APC will fight to retain Power come 2023, from Top to Bottom”

While appreciating the stakeholders and grassroots Politicians for electing him as the Governorship Candidate of the party in Plateau State Dr Yilwatda Nentawe pledged to unite all tribes in the state.

He said his administration will unite the state against all external forces who have been attacking the states

Dr Nentawe noted that he boost the local industries in Barkin Ladi, saying Potatoes production amongst others to strengthen the economic base of the state.
