2023: Support group vows to mobilise 4.7 million votes for Atiku

A support group, operating under the aegis of Atikulated Vision of Nigeria (AVN) has expressed its readiness and commitment to mobilise 4.7 million votes for the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday in Abuja, the National President of the support group, Comrade Ebenji K. Chidiebere commended the members for their selfless commitment to the ideals of AVN, stressing out it would surely translated into success in the 2023 general election.

Change of Name

He the Atikulated Vision of Nigeria’ isn’t a rabble-rousing chorus group, but an organisation that is committed to mobilisng all holders of Permanent Voters Cards across the length and breath to ensure victory for Atiku.

According to Mr. Chidiebere, the AVN has, 15 Executives in each ward multiplying by 313,575 wards in Nigeria that alone gives PDP 4.7 in their kitty already.

Highlighting the reason the group adopted Alhaji Atiku Abubakar above other presidential candidates, Chidiebere said, he has track record in the area of Agriculture, Education, Job creation, ability alongside his leadership qualities.

“Atiku has far back as 1981, saw agriculture as a great opportunity and solution for Nigeria when he started the Gesse Desirable Farm in Yola with a bank loan which produce over 10,000 bags of maize for sale with in Nigeria”.

Comrade Ebenji further dwelt on the achievements of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in the area of Education and he said, he is sole founder of American University of Nigeria (AUN) that provides career and job opportunities to millions of Nigerians.

He noted that Atiku’s philanthropy is well pronounced through the promotion of education at all levels.

He said: “As Vice President, between 1999 – 2007, Atiku superintended over the GSM revolution that saw Nigeria go from 50,000 to 100million GSM line that attract $27bn to our GDP and many others.

“And then, there are Atiku’s obvious achievements in government and politics. For eight years he was the Vice President under the leadership of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, his tenure and influence are directly responsible for the introduction into the Nigerian space of the most resounding names of that era

Reacting to question from news men as to either PDP is panic with the wave of Labor party and All Progressives Congress, he said “PDP is not learning to win election and the strategy of winning election is always our experience”.

“On the current crisis of the PDP, he maintained that, crisis in a party is part of the party, but one thing that is peculiar to PDP is they always find ways to resolve their differences at all times, therefore the current one will be addressed very soon.

Commenting on Atiku’s credibility Ebenji stated that “Atiku’s name was dragged to the mud because of his stand against third tenure ambition of his principal, President Olusegun Obasanjo by telling him to respect the law of the land after of two tenure of office. “.he said
