The campaign team of the Kaduna All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Senator Uba Sani on Thursday came under bandits attack on their way from Kafanchan to Kaduna after a political meeting with Christian leaders in Kaduna South Senatorial district.
In a Facebook wall of a victim of the attack, Mr Nuhu Baseer Masa which was sighted by CAPITAL POST on Friday, he explained that bandits shot at their vehicles which were five between Kajuru and Kujama and damaged three.
He narrated that they have to abandon three vehicles which were badly damaged and escape, while some persons in the other two vehicles sustained gunshot injuries and were rushed to an undisclosed medical facilities for treatment.
He said those who were in the vehicles are the Uban Sani campaign Director General, Prof. Sani Bello, Director of Organization, Mainan Zauzau, Special Adviser to governor Nasir El-Rufai, Engr Namadi, one Alhaji Ahmed Maiyaki, Engr. Jamil Ahmad Muhammad, Personal Assistant to Senator Uba , other aides and Security operatives.
In a similar Facebook post by Mr Yusuf Atta, he revealed that bandits attack had injured the former media aide to the ex-governor of Kaduna, Ahmed Maiyaki and he is receiving a medical attention at the Army reference hospital, Kaduna.
