Bello Turji: Zamfara community leaders pay condolence visit after Air force’s deadly bombing
Following the Nigeria Airforce deadly bombing of the notorious terrorist leader, Bello Turji’s den that led to scores of his gang members dead, some community leaders from Fakai village in Shinkafi Local Government Area of Zamfara State have reportedly paid a condolence visit.
Bello Turji has been attacking several communities in Zamfara State, but lately claimed to have turned a new leaf and vowed to fight other gangsters attacking the communities.
CAPITAL POST reliably learnt that leaders of Fakai community and other surrounding ones have a pact with the notorious bandit leader for protection which he has kept his words.
But in a fresh aerial bombings by the Nigeria Air Force, lieutenants of the terrorists leader were killed in numbers, but he escaped unhurt.
CAPITAL POST learnt on Monday night that Fakai leaders paid a condolence visit to the terrorist leader in order to dissuade him from a reprisal attack.
The terrorist’s camp was bombednon Saturday and since then it has been pain on the side of terrorists as many of their members were reportedly killed.
Fakai village is in Shinkafi Local Government Council of Zamfara State in the North West, Nigeria.
Also,the swift visit by community leaders, it was learnt, wasn’t unconnected with the viral video where Turji was seen bragging that he would take vengeance on local communities got being hit by the Air force.
The condolence visit was confirmed by a terrorist’s researcher, Idris4Peace, in a tweeted saying that residents of the village where Turji also resided with his people, had sympathised with him to avoid vengeance.
“We met him this morning to sympathise with him, if not he will revenge on us,” Idris4peace quoted one of the locals as saying.
