Daddy K unveils plans for 2023, announces expansion project
Dubai based Nigerian painter and CEO of Porsh & Glance (P&G) African market, Akpojivi Joel Onoriode aka “DADDY K” has unveiled his expansion plans for 2023.
In a telephone interview with our reporter, over the weekend, He revealed that 2022 was all about laying down the foundation and making plans for consolidation in 2023. Daddy K who recently announced his participation in Dubai’s premium art exhibition, the Dubai World Art in spring next year also revealed that. He has put plans in motion for the expansion and opening of more P & G branches and outlets next year.
“We are looking to open up outlets in different countries and locations around the world, starting with one in Jumeirah village circle, Dubai early next year. We are also working on setting up branches in the United Kingdom, Turkey, United States, and places where we have lots of Africans living”, Joel added.
Porsh and Glance African market is one of the prime shopping spots for all types of African groceries, food items, and essential commodities in Dubai. Daddy K also informed that, he is
currently working on the production of palm nut (concentrate) cream in Nigeria. “We have embarked on the manufacture of the P & G brand of palm nut body cream, which we intend to distribute and market exclusively to outlets within the UAE and other African shops/markets worldwide”, he stated.
Speaking about the 2023 general elections in Nigeria, Daddy K urged everyone to participate in exercising their right to vote for the candidate of their choice. “What is happening in Nigerian politics this year is unprecedented. Peter Obi has opened the eyes of many and given the youths hope that Nigeria can be better if we all do the right thing. The election next year isn’t a do or die affair but is a make or mar year for the youths if they don’t use their votes wisely”, he declared.
He enjoined INEC to make it possible for Nigeirans living in the diaspora to be able to cast their votes online in 2027 in line with modern day practices as seen in other countries like Kenya.
