Source said, some suspected gunmen stormed his residence and whisked him away to an unknown destination.
Also, Plateau State Police Public Relations Officer DSP Alabo Alfred confirmed the incident to correspondent on Wednesday in Jos, saying that there was a reported case of robbery incident around 10 to 11pm on Tuesday.
He also confirmed the kidnapped of the Council, but said, the security agencies are on the trail of the gunmen to secured the safety of the Chairman.
A source who pleaded anonymity told CAPITAL POST that gunmen stormed the residence of the Executive Chairman at Kwang in Jos South local government council of the state in the early hours of Wednesday morning and started shooting and abducted the council boss.
The Council boss is also the Secretary of ALGON in Plateau state.
