2023 general election: Nigeria is safe with the APC – Tolu Bankole
The National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Persons Living with Disabilities (PWDs), Tolu Bankole, has urged Nigerians to vote the ruling party in the 2023 general elections.
In a statement released on Friday and sent to CAPITAL POST, Bankole said, despite the prevailing situation in the country, Nigeria is still very safe with the APC than any other party contesting in the elections.
The APC PWDs National Leader, noted that 2023 elections is critical for the stability and continuity of Nigeria as a nation, hence the need for all patriotic citizens of Nigeria to see beyond those using the smokescreen of divisive campaigns and religious fault lines by voting for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima of the APC for presidency.
According to him, Nigeria must not miss the opportunity to vote time tested presidential candidate of the APC in the 2023 general elections.
He said “APC is the only party with the best presidential offer. The combo of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima meet the twin central nerve of transformational leadership which are: competence and character. Competence because both are experienced private sector technocrats merge with astute public service legacies as sterling Governors and distinguished Senators of Lagos and Borno states respectively.
“They have the character because Nigeria is at a crossroad to sustain the gains of the ongoing monumental infrastructural revolution and urgently rally the human and non human resources to tame emerging challenges confronting the country.
“The duo of Tinubu and Shettima fit the mole from there track records of innovative approach to developmental and security issues in the public domain.
“The nation must not gamble with her choice of leadership at this critical stage in history” he stated.
The PWDs leader also called on all Ministers and head of government Agencies/Parastatals to give their stedwardship in appreciation of what the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has done in the last 7years for this country across all sectors. He maintained that keeping silent at this critical moment should be seen as a deliberate sabotage and disloyalty to a leader who steadied the country through a global pandemic, one of the most trying moments in human history.
He appealed to all PWDs across the country to as a matter of urgency and national duty, collect their PVCs and get ready to cast their votes for APC in the forthcoming general elections.
He further urged them to work with groups at all levels for the victory of APC in the elections.
