Many feared killed as terrorists attack travellers in Buhari’s home State
Daring terrorists once again attacked travellers in President Muhammadu Buhari’s home State, Kaduna leaving scores feared dead on Wednesday.
Many were reportedly injured in the operation, while others were abducted into the forest.
Eyewitness said, the attack took place in Kadobe village, Katsina State on a highway from Katsina to Jibia to Maradi in Niger Republic.
Reports said there are over 20 security checkpoints on the 38-kilometre road from the capital city, Katsina, to Magama Jibia which comprise of different security agents.
While sharing photos on Facebook, a witness, Abubakar Surajo Jibia wrote, “ALLAHUMMA AJIRNI FI MUSIBATI WA’AKLIBINI KHAIRAN MINHA.
“Terrorists Attack Travellers.
“Another attacked by bandit today evening JIBIA to KATSINA road where they killed innocent people some were injured, some were kidnapped (sic). What is like this? The situation is worst.”
Katsina, despite being the home state of President Muhammadu Buhari, has witnessed frequent attacks by bandits and kidnappers that have claimed the lives of many.
