Terrorists Commanders in Kaduna forest are engaging in big time farming in communities of Birnin-Gwari Local Government Council, engaging locals who are willingly working for them free of charge.

The farming adventure of terrorists Commanders is getting a boost as locals are offering free labour in exchange for protection of their communities.

The locals have reportedly reasoned that it was better they offer free labour for the terrorists warlords than got kidnapped and killed.

This was confirmed in a statement issued on Sunday by the Chairman, Birnin-Gwari Emirate Progressive Union (BEPU), Ishaq Usman Kasai, who lamented that the locals are helpless and are at the mercy of terrorists.

He revealed that working for terrorists was part of the conditions for them not to attack communities in Birnin Gwari in Southern Kaduna Senatorial district, adding that it was agreed that locals would not be attacked when they access their own farms.

The statement pointed out that farmers in various communities in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State got involved directly in negotiation as government has failed to protect the people who have suffered attacks countlessly in their own land.

According to Kasai, terrorists first indicated their interest for negotiation as they have been contacting these Communities for negotiations for about three years ago but did not accept until all hopes for help from the government were lost.

“In other situations, locals have to go for free labour in the farms of some bandits warlords for their freedom to live in their Communities and access to their farmlands. This despite several calls by the people to the government to come to their help.

The State governor, Nasir El-rufai had few weeks ago cried out loud to President Muhammadu Buhari that terrorists were running parallel government in the State.
