Adamawa Senator vow to unleash ‘lions’ on APC for planning to suspend him from party
As crisis in the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adamawa State chapter deepens, Senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, Senator Ishaku Elisha Abbo has threatened to unleash ‘lions’ on those planning to suspend him from party.
The lawmaker in the upper legislative Chamber was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, a platform that brought him to the National Assembly before he defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Suspension of Senator Abbo was imminent given his criticism of the party in the State and the National level. Some stalwarts in the Adamawa State APC who are not comfortable with his outbursts are planning to suspend him.
Elisha Abbo was against Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket and has never hid his anger, insisting that Northern Christians have been ignored.
In a post on his Facebook page, the lawmaker alleged that “there is a former Governor who ferried people from Yola to suspend him because of his stand against unpopular, insensitive and unjust political misadventure.
He said: ‘how do they want to rule a country like Nigeria and can not tolerate divergent views or gag people you stole their rightful place’.
He said he is not a second class citizen of the country adding that they should ‘call off their dogs before he releases his own lions’.
The recent post by the federal lawmaker has generated a lot of reactions from his fans and numerous followers on the social media platform.
