Security agents on Friday tracked some criminal elements operating in the guise of ‘unknown’ gunmen and arrested them from their hideout in Ukpor Nnewi South Local Government Council of Anambra State.
It was gathered that assorted weapons, a casket, military wears and other items which they use for their criminal operations were recovered by the Anambra State Joint Task Force (JTF), who tracked them to their camp on Friday.
In a video which has gone viral, one of the criminal who identified himself as ‘Fifty confessed that he killed four persons so far after he joined the gang.
He also revealed her to that they killed security operatives after they learnt that they were being traced, adding that one of the notorious gangster called ‘Double Lion’ who was killed in June was their member.
He also added that one Evans who is on the run is a member of their camp and they are all operating in Anambra State.
It’s recalled that security agents have been battling with the so called ‘unknown’ gunmen in the South East who have been killing security agents and destroying of government infrastructure.
