Former presidential aide in the ex-President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan administration and a socio-political activist has declared that Nigeria will burn under Tinubu.
His outburst followed the alleged hiring of fake Catholic Bishops who thronged the unveiling of Senator Kashim Shettima at the Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja on Wednesday.
The presence of the controversial Bishops was aimed at legitimising the choice of Muslim-Muslim ticket which has put the All Progressives Congress (APC) on the firing line in the last two weeks.
CAPITAL POST earlier reported that the standard flagbearer of the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu nominated Senator Kashim Shettima, a Muslim and a former governor of Borno State as his running mate.
Since the announcement, agitations have been trailing to a boiling point from the Christian community and even some Muslim community.
Omokri insisted that the Bishops were hirelings aimed at cooling down controversy, adding that it was deception taken too far by the APC.
He noted that with the development, Nigeria will burn, if Bola Ahmed Tinubu becomes Nigeria’s President in 2023.
A post on his Facebook page reads, “If Tinubu could not organise a successful unveiling of his running mate, and had to hire fake Christian ‘Bishops’, then how can he successfully govern Nigeria?
“Can Nigeria be safe at the hand of a man who can desecrate Christianity so wantonly? Nigeria will burn under Tinubu, because he obviously can’t manage our diversity. The only thing fuelling his ambition is desperation.
“His desperation will lead to our separation! We have not found a way to end the menace of unknown gunmen, we do not need unknown bishops too!”
