Tinubu’s wife, Oluremi takes husband to Adeboye over Muslim-Muslim ticket
The wife of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Oluremi Tinubu on Sunday reportedly led her husband to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye.
Tinubu who is the standard flagbearer of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), in the 2023 general election has been facing stern criticisms over his choice of a Muslim as his running mate.
In the meeting with Adeboye, which took place on Sunday at the RCCG’s Redemption Camp in Ota, the discussion was said to have been centred on the controversial Muslim-Muslim ticket.
Tinubu’s wife who is an assistant Pastor in RCCG was said to be present in the meeting with others.
A source claimed that the meeting was fruitful, saying that Daddy Adeboye was against Muslim-Muslim ticket.
Meanwhile, Tinubu nominated the former governor of Borno State as his running mate and since the announcement, there have been wild criticisms.
Several Christian bodies, leaders and prominent individuals have been agitating for Christian running mate which they argued would balance religious leanings.
