Shortly after his announcement as the running mate to Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) 2023 presidential candidate, a frontline activist, Comrade Deji Adeyanju on Sunday demanded that Senator Kashim Shettima should explain.to Nigerians on activities of Boko Haram and the kidnap of Chibok school girls.
He said, Senator Shettima who was governor of Borno State when Boko Haram, an Islamic sects wrecked the North East wantonly, noting that he
has a lot of questions to answer about the activities of Boko Haram.
Deji stressed that Nigeria will burn, if Shettima who was at the centre of Chibok girls abduction opens his mouth to shed light on all he know about Boko Haram.
The commented immediately the ex-governor was announced as Tinubu’s running mate in 2023.
Deji wrote on Facebook, “Shettima was at the Centre of Chibok girls abduction and also has a lot to say about Boko Haram. He once said if he says all he knew about Boko Haram, the country will burn.”
