As Muslims world wide are celebrating Eid-el-Kabir, Nasarawa State governorship candidate under the platform of New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Hon. Abdullahi Yakubu Maidoya has rejoiced with Islamic faithful.
Hon. Maidoya who called on Muslims faithful to embrace the teaching and practice of holy book revealed to, Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
He charged them to be prayerful as the country is approaching 2023 election for peace and normalcy to return in crisis areas.
“The significance of this celebration cannot be overemphasized, therefore, there’s need to use the period for sober reflection through love and sacrifice. He stated.
He reminded Muslims to use the period to strengthen their relationship with God and fellow human beings especially the need for the well to do to support the less privileged in the society to give them sense of belonging.
The NNPP, gubernatorial candidate also used the medium to appeal to citizens of, Nasarawa state to come out in their numbers to vote all NNPP, candidates at all levels of governance.
He emphasized the need for residents to collect their PVC as only means of electing new leaders who can bring back the country’s missing glory.
Hon. Maidoya called on all and sundry to be law abiding citizens and distance selves from any act capable of causing disunity among the environment they found themselves.
