Notorious Christmas day bomber, Kabiru Sokoto among escapees from Kuje Prison
A high profile member of the Boko Haram terrorists who was sentenced to life imprisonment, Kabiru Sokoto has escaped on the night of attack on Kuje Correctional Centre.
Kabir Sokoto mastermind the bombing of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Madalla in Niger State, after he plotting a car bomb.
The bomb that exploded on the Christmas day killed 44 and injured several other worshippers in 2014 during the administration of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
The convict who is fully known as Kabir Sokoto Dikko fled after fighters of the Islamic State of West African Province stormed Kuje prison to free terrorists who were detained in the facility.
The terrorist was tried in Court and sentenced to life imprisonment after serving six years.
