Fr. Mbaka shuts Adoration Ministry over attack on Peter Obi
Founder of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has shutdown Adoration Ministry in compliance with the order of Enugu Catholic Diocese, Bishop Callistus Onaga.
The development followed Mbaka’s vituperative stance against the former governor of Anambra State and the 2023 presidential aspirant on the platform of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi.
Bishop Callistus Onaga who is the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese banned Catholic faithful from attending Adoration Ministry over Mbaka’s uncouth utterances against the politician which was considered injurious to the Catholic community.
Our correspondent who monitors development in Enugu reports that Mbaka issued a statement to his followers, informing them that programmes would no longer hold in the Ministry.
The statement posted on the official Facebook page of the Ministry reads:
“Dear Adorers, There will be no program starting from tomorrow being 19th June 2022 at Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria Amen, Umuchigbo Emene, Enugu State.
“Sunday Mass, Wednesday (E No Dey) And Night Programs will not hold till further notice.
“God bless Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria Amen and God Bless Our Spiritual Director, Rev Fr, Ejike Mbaka.
