After losing primary election, Plateau PDP Assembly aspirant distributes wrappers to widows
Plateau State House of Assembly aspirant for Riyom State Constituency, Hon. Dung Danboyi who lost the primary elections to the incumbent Member, Hon. Timothy Dantong has at the weekend distributed wrappers worth hundreds of thousands to some widows drawn from the 10 federal wards of the LGA as part of his appreciation to Almighty God for his countless and enormous blessings upon his life.
Dung, a vibrant youth activist in Plateau State while presenting the wrappers to the widows at COCIN LCC Church noted that the gesture came from the heels of his desire to assuage some challenges the concerned widows pass through in the process of providing the needs of their children.
He however urged the widows to remain focus and committed to their daily activities in the interest of their families and for societal development. Dung also enjoined the widows to take the death of their loved ones as an act of God while urging them to give topmost priority to the education of their children.
Responding, Kachollom Gyang, one of the beneficiaries expressed her profound gratitude to the honourable for finding them worthy of such remarkable presentation.
She opined that, Dung occupies a special place in their hearts and in the hearts of the people due to his humility, benevolence and availing himself to the cries of the widows, they prayed for his kind gesture to be rewarded by God Almighty and wished him well in all that he do, they urged well meaning Nigerians to emulate him as well.
