The presidential flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2023 general election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has nominated the governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate.
Atiku officially announced Okowa at party’s National Headquarters, Wadata House, Wuse, Abuja.
On Thursday, Atiku and Okowa had earlier arrived at the PDP, to meet with party leadership and stakeholders, where he unveiled his running mate.
Okowa’s nomination as running mate has put to rest controversies surrounding the choice of Atiku’s running mate.
